Exercise equates to health
June 21, 2024

By Cyan, Colegio Nueva Granada reporter | When was the last time you ran, played tennis, played soccer, rode a bike, and more? In other words, when did you last exercise?

Exercising is good for you because it improves your brain health, helps manage weight, reduces chances of diseases, makes your bones and muscles stronger, and improves your ability to do everyday activities, according to HealthDirect, an Australian national virtual public health information service.

Exercising brings a lot of benefits to your life that can improve your mental and physical health. I recommend you stop watching TV and start moving to make your life better.

About the author

My name is Cyan and I am 10 years old. I am Colombian and live in Colombia with my mom, dad, and brother. If you didn’t know, the name Cyan is actually a blue and beautiful color, so just know my favorite color is the color cyan. My favorite food is sushi. I love sushi, but sadly my brother is kind of allergic to sea animals so he can’t eat sushi.

I am a tennis player and love to play tennis. I wish I could play tennis all day because of how fun it is.

I chose the topic of exercise to write about because exercise has always been part of my life, and even though I hated it when I was little, I learned to like it and get better each time. This topic is important because it teaches you how you can be healthier and gives you tips for having a better life. This topic is also important because health and exercising are both part of our lives. We can be doing exercise even if we’re just walking or jogging for 10 to 15 minutes. Keep exercising!
