Your generosity helped make our Fall 2022 fund drive a success! We met our matching grant challenge from the Healthy NewsWorks board, and we exceeded our $30,000 goal for the campaign.

Healthy NewsWorks believes that every child has the right and the need to acquire health knowledge and literacy skills. Your gift will enable us to work with even more students to teach them how to separate fact from fiction; identify reliable sources of information; and produce trustworthy, health-focused school newspapers, books, and other materials.
Our student reporters now are researching, interviewing, and writing about the link between health and the environment as part of this year’s theme, “Caring for Our Earth and Ourselves.” We’ll launch our new student-produced magazine this Spring and continue to grow our By Kids, For Kids platform to share the students’ findings with the broader community.
