We’ve met our board match
December 14, 2022

Help our student reporters learn more and gain new opportunities in 2023.

We are thrilled to announce that you have helped us meet our $10,000 Healthy NewsWorks Board Match for our 2022 fall fundraiser! We are deeply grateful to you. But there is still work to do. We are challenging ourselves to raise an additional $5,000 by December 31 to help launch our new student-produced magazine this spring.

Our reporters now are researching, interviewing, and writing about the link between health and the environment, especially around climate change, as part of this year’s theme, “Caring for Our Earth and Ourselves.” We anticipate printing at least 3,000 copies of the magazine for our 16 participating schools as well as distributing an e-version through digital channels.

Please make a gift to Healthy NewsWorks today to join us in our exciting new magazine endeavor and support these young students who are truly making a difference. Your contribution is an investment that will have a profound influence on the 1,400 students we will serve directly this year with one of our three school-based programs.
