Join us for the How We Heal Film and Book Fest
April 2, 2022

Please plan to join us for the Healthy NewsWorks How We Heal Film and Book Fest on Wednesday, May 18. In keeping with our 2022 theme, “How We Heal: Moving Ahead in Challenging Times,” we’ll premiere a film featuring Healthy NewsWorks student interviews with health and community leaders. And we’ll debut our 11th book: How We Heal: Leading Healthy Change In Our Communities 2022.

As the Covid-19 pandemic recedes, we invite you to attend in person or virtually.

Join us from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 18

The event will be held both outdoors and indoors* at the Merion Tribute House, 625 Hazelhurst Ave., Merion Station, PA 19066.

(Sign up early—attendance is limited to 200!)

You’ll have a chance to meet Healthy NewsWorks students, see student work, enjoy light fare, see the film premiere and book unveiling, and hear an update on our program. Our film director and several students involved in creating the film will be on hand for a talk-back after the show.

The suggested donation for tickets is $100 per person. Sponsorships start at $150 and include tickets. Register for tickets here.

*Please note that we will follow or exceed Covid-19 protocols recommended by local governments at the time of the event. We will keep registrants informed of such requirements.

Tune in at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 18.

Register today, and we’ll send you a link. While registration for the virtual celebration is free, we hope you’ll consider a donation to Healthy NewsWorks. Register for virtual access here.

Would you like to receive the book?

With any ticket purchase or a donation of $100 or more, you’ll be eligible to receive a copy of the book at no additional charge. Request your copy when you register, and the book will be mailed in June. A digital version will be available on our website shortly after the May 18 event.
