A message from the executive director: A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our Fall 2021 fund drive a success! Not only did we meet our matching grant challenge from the Rostair Foundation, we exceeded our $30,000 goal for the campaign.

Healthy NewsWorks believes that every child has the right and the need to acquire health knowledge and literacy skills. These gifts will enable us to work with even more students to teach them how to separate fact from fiction; identify reliable sources of information; and produce trustworthy, health-focused school newspapers, books, and other materials.
Our student reporters this year are hard at work on their school health newspapers and the 11th book in our Leading Healthy Change In Our Communities series. We’re engaging more children through our By Kids For Kids site, adding more lessons to our curriculum, and increasing our multimedia presence.
We are grateful to everyone who has joined us on this journey and look forward to sharing more of our students’ work with you in the months ahead.
