Healthy NewsWorks is featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer
December 21, 2021

December 2021 … At Healthy NewsWorks, we’re used to our student journalists reporting the news, but this week we find ourselves in the news! The Philadelphia Inquirer has published a lengthy feature story on our program, inspired by our recent GSK IMPACT Award win.

The article highlights how well Healthy NewsWorks pivoted when the pandemic struck: going digital, sourcing experts for students to interview over Zoom, and providing an outlet for kids to write about how COVID made them feel.

The piece is destined for print publication in The UpSide, The Inquirer’s good-news section, but is online now! Check it out here.
