Healthy Neighbors explores heart health
September 9, 2018

September 2018 … Heart health is the focus of a new edition of Healthy Neighbors, a community newspaper edition published by Healthy NewsWorks.

The newspaper includes work by student reporters from several Healthy NewsWorks schools on the importance of heart health and what activities and habits people can practice to help keep their hearts healthy.

Readers will find healthy snack recipes, reviews of health-focused online games, and advice from a nutritionist and a cardiologist on how to take care of your heart throughout your life. A two-page “Hearty Kids” insert features larger and simpler text and coloring activities for the youngest readers.
