Join us for our book celebration!
April 9, 2018

April 2018…Registration is now open for our 2018 book-launch celebration, which will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, at the Merion Tribute House, 625 Hazelhurst Ave, Merion Station, PA 19066.

This event will mark the publication of Leading Healthy Change In Our Communities 2018, a new book of stories by Healthy NewsWorks student journalists about Philadelphia-area leaders who are making our communities healthier and safer.

At the event, you’ll receive a copy of the book, be able to meet some of the student authors and community leaders, and see how our fact-based health reporting is making a difference.

Dr. Paul A. Offit, director of the Vaccine Education Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, a professor of pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine, and a 2017 Healthy NewsWorks Health Leader, will deliver keynote remarks.

The cost to attend is $50 person, and all proceeds directly benefit Healthy NewsWorks. The registration deadline is May 24.
