What’s news: Strong bones, sleep, resiliency, and more
August 5, 2017

August 2017 … Sample newspapers from all 15 schools participating in the Healthy NewsWorks program during the 2016-17 school year are now available online. In our core newspaper program, children learn how to gather reliable and relevant health information that they can report on and share with their schools and communities. The stories covered a wide range of topics during the year: resiliency, how you can strengthen your bones, what a new water well means to students in Sierra Leone, why children need to get enough sleep, opinions on the new Philadelphia soda tax, and much more. Read the papers.
