Fact-based approach inspires CHOP blog

July 2017 … A recent post on Cornerstone, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute’s blog, looked at how Healthy NewsWorks student reporters cover health and science.

Two of the health leaders featured in Leading Healthy Change In Our Communities 2017 are Dr. Paul Offit, director of CHOP’s Vaccine Education Center, and Dr. Senbagam Virudachalam, pediatrician and PolicyLab faculty member at CHOP.

“Thumbing through its pages, you get a true sense of the inquisitive and intelligent approach the students have taken toward tricky health topics,” the blogger writes.
