September 2015…Healthy NewsWorks is proud to introduce its new website, which has a fresh look and many exciting new features that will help us showcase student work, news, educational materials and games, videos, and other information about our program. It’s also responsive, which means you can read it on a desktop computer, tablet, or hand-held device.
The new site will give us more ways to offer enrichment activities that will bolster students’ journalistic skills and increase their health knowledge. It also will make it easier for teachers to access resources to help them create and use their school-based health newspapers in classrooms.
And it gives us a community meetingplace where we can share information about the students, educators, community members, and supporters who contribute to Healthy NewsWorks in multiple ways.
We want to extend our thanks to Kevin Homer and his team at Navitas Marketing for their work in developing the new site.
We plan to post plenty of articles, videos, and other features over the next couple of months. Please make it a regular habit to stop back and see what’s new.
