‘Acts of Kindness’ posters go on display
April 17, 2015

April 2015…Students at ten Healthy NewsWorks schools in Philadelphia, Norristown, and Upper Darby recently participated in an “Acts of Kindness” poster contest.  The students were encouraged to create a picture that illustrates a child being kind to another person. The contest was part of the Think, Don’t Fight initiative, for which student reporters have been reporting and writing about bullying prevention. The posters were judged by employees at Quest Diagnostics, Healthy NewsWorks’ Community Wellness Partner.

A selection of these winning and “honorary mention” posters will be displayed at various locations throughout the community this spring and summer. Posters are currently on display at the Havertown Area YMCA and the Norristown Area School District.
