Healthy Neighbors hot off the presses
July 2014…Healthy NewsWorks is always looking for new ways to expand the reach of our media beyond the schoolyard into the wider community.  We are excited to introduce our first community-edition newspaper, Healthy Neighbors. Five thousand copies of the newspaper are beingdistributed to schools, businesses, hospitals, and other community venues.
This edition focuses on heart health and includes articles and illustrations produced by students in Norristown, Philadelphia, and Upper Darby that first appeared in their schools’ health newspapers. It includes stories about good and bad cholesterol and why it’s important to eat balanced, healthy meals. You also will find websites with reliable heart-health information.
