Healthy NewsWorks welcomes Quest Diagnostics and Einstein Healthcare Network as new community partners

April 1, 2014…Healthy NewsWorks is honored to welcome two new healthcare organizations as community partners: Quest Diagnostics and Einstein Healthcare Network.  Quest Diagnostics will serve as Healthy NewsWorks’ “Community Wellness Partner” and Einstein will serve as Healthy NewsWorks’ “Community Healthcare Champion.”

About the Quest partnership

We know we do that best when we get involved, helping communities and families to be strong and well.”

About the Einstein Healthcare Network partnership
“Healthy NewsWorks’ mission of empowering students to transform the health of their school communities is aligned with Einstein’s mission of providing health and wellness programs and services to as many communities as we can reach,” said Steven L. Sivak, MD, FACP, Paul J. Johnson, Chairman, Department of Medicine, Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia and Einstein Medical Center Montgomery.  “We are looking forward to working with Healthy NewsWorks to help young people learn about the importance of adopting healthy habits as early as possible and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.”

Healthy NewsWorks is looking forward to working with both of these new partners in the year ahead to further enrich health knowledge and understanding in schools and communities, and bring health literacy to the community in new ways.
