February 2014…Healthy NewsWorks is pleased to announce that Michael Useem, a nationally recognized expert in leadership development and a professor at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, will serve as keynote speaker at our annual fundraiser and book-signing event May 20.Â
Dr. Useem is professor of management and director of the Center for Leadership and Change Management at Wharton. He teaches MBA and executive-MBA courses and also works on issues including leadership, decision making, governance, and change for a wide variety of companies and organizations in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors.
A prolific author, Dr. Useem is the author of several books including The Leader’s Checklist, The Leadership Moment, Investor Capitalism, and The Go Point: When It’s Time to Decide. He is coauthor and coeditor of Learning from Catastrophes and coauthor of The India Way: How India’s Top Business Leaders Are Revolutionizing Management and Boards That Lead.
He is coanchor of the weekly program “Leadership in Action” on SiriusXM Radio Channel 111, Business Radio Powered by Wharton.
The book-signing event will take place on Tuesday, May 20, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Merion Tribute House in Merion Station, Pa.
