Sixth graders interview police commissioner

March 2013…Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey recently answered questions from sixth grade reporters on topics ranging from neighborhood safety to how he stays healthy and fit.

The reporters from the Healthy Hope newspaper staff at Hope Partnership for Education in North Philadelphia were gathering information for a profile that will appear in a book about leaders who are making the Philadelphia area a safer and healthier plaace.

Mr. Ramsey is one of 12 people who will be featured in the book, Leading Healthy Change In Our Communities 2013. The book will be released on June 5 at a book-signing celebration and fundraiser at the Merion Tribute House in Merion Station, Pa.
