Healthy NewsWorks website offers teachers and student reporters an online resource center
September 16, 2012

September 2012… Teachers and student reporters in participating Healthy NewsWorks schools can now access a section of the Healthy NewsWorks website to obtain resource information to help make their healthy newspapers even more robust.

The Healthy NewsWorks online resource center provides story starters, health briefs, and websites, books, and recipes to review. It also includes a section directing teachers and home and school associations to various funding opportunities for projects and events such as field trips, science and health projects, and school supplies.  The online resource center, including the funding opportunities section, will be updated throughout the year.
