Gotwals reporters tour new medical facility

September 2012… Four fourth grade journalists from Gotwals Elementary School, along with their teacher Katie Sortino, toured the new 146-bed, $350 million Einstein Medical Center Montgomery (EMCM) hospital in East Norriton. The hospital is scheduled to open on Sept. 29.

The reporters interviewed hospital administrators and saw demonstrations of the new DaVinci Surgical System. They also viewed patient rooms, the maternity ward, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  The Gotwals reporters toured alongside working journalists and will write about their experiences for the Gotwals Healthy Press.
