A Wiki for Chestnutwold
March 4, 2011

March 2011…Reporters for the Chestnutwold Healthy Times in Haverford Township, Pa., can now write and edit virtually by tapping into a Wiki — interlinked web pages that allow for the creation and editing of collaborative works. Student journalists who are working together on a story can each post information that they have gathered, and see what each other is doing.  Says Mary Beth Lauer, a community volunteer who helps to oversee the program, “I can also post information for the student journalists, ask them questions, and read their research.  It is energizing, engaging, and helps all of us stay on track.”
